Welcome to Sacriston Parish in the County of Durham. The origins of Sacriston date back to the 13th Century when it was called Sacriston's Heugh. It comprised of a combined farm and manor house which was the residence of a monk who held the office of Sacristan of the Parish monastery at Durham Cathedral.
